The Pebble is an expert in activity tracking. Based in science, the Pebble uses intelligent, patented algorithms to collect accurate and objective activity data. The device automatically tracks the user’s steps taken, calories burned, distance traveled and total activity time.The Pebble works across multiple activity types and measures the intensity level of a specific activity. Once the Pebble collects activity data, it automatically and wirelessly sends it through the cloud-based FitLinxx database to a customized personal website using the FitLinxx open application programming interface (API).

These applications enable users to set and measure goals to increase health awareness, and to join communities to interact with friends, family and co-workers to stay motivated.
